Thanks for this…..I had no idea ‘how’ it worked but I must say that having never been a ‘car’ person I am a year into owning a Model 3 and am just as enamoured with it as the day I drove it off the lot.
From the power, the quiet, the fact that ‘gas’ stations feel like a thing of the past i am a complete convert.
It’s also likely to last for a million miles because EVs have two orders of magnitude fewer moving parts. If you drive 25,000 miles a year, that’s 40 years. In that time, I’d bet level 5 autonomous vehicles will be here and no one, except possibly the super rich, will be driving at all.
