Seeing the coast in an ocean kayak was amazing, but it requires a decent level of fitness and being comfortable in a small boat in the ocean. Definitely worth it, if you can do it.
We took a power boat to see the coast, wouldn’t do that now but….. a kayak definitely
would be amazing but I live on the ocean and kayak only when the sea is like glass, well …..perhaps small waves.
Did a Zodiac trip for four days in Haida Gwaii,
beyond amazing but that would also be an amazing kayak trip.
